On arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, you are received by Team Himalaya staff and then transferred to respective hotels, where the TH guide will brief orientation about the program and other related information and then we tour the suburb of Kathmandu city to Swayambhunath also popularly known as 'Monkey Temple'. This is one of the world's most glorious Buddhist Chaityas. It is said to be 2,000 years old. Painted on the four sides of the spire bases are the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. It is 3 km west of Kathmandu City and is situated on a hillock of about 77m. Above the level of the Kathmandu Valley, it is included in the World Heritage. From here one can have a view of the whole of Kathmandu city and its valley in the backdrop of a distant snow-capped mountain range on a clear day.

Today, after breakfast our interesting tour continues with a drive towards Pashupatinath Temple one of the holiest of all holy Hindu temples. Situated 5 km east of Kathmandu, the temple of Lord Shiva-Pashupatinath with two-tiered golden roof and silver doors, is famous for its superb architecture. Visitors can clearly see the temple and the activities performed on the temple premises from the eastern bank of the Bagmati River. Apart from Hindus, no one is allowed to enter the main Temple premises, however, we take a short walk by the bank of the Bagmati River where one can observe the pilgrims and Hindu priests' activities. This River is also a cremation site for the Hindus.
From here a short drive led to the Bouddhanath, northeast of the Pashupatinath area.
The Stupa of Bouddhanath is located 8 km east of Kathmandu. This colossal and ancient stupa is one of the biggest in the world. This area is also known as 'Little Tibet'. After a visit here, observing the Tibetan Buddhist way of life. Our tour continues towards Patan Durbar Square which is situated in the south of Kathmandu, and it is separated by a bridge over the river Bagmati. Patan is also known as Lalitpur meaning, the City of Arts. As you enter the old Palace courtyard (Durbar) the tall terracotta house looks fascinating with intricate window carvings, and the Stone Temple of Krishna with the pillar of Garuda the vehicle of Lord Vishnu and as well of Lord Krishna. After the historic visit with lunch at the Patan area, drive back to the hotel.

From Kathmandu, we take a morning drive of nearly five hours on the main south-west central highway. The scenic drive leads past Kathmandu Valley and then follows the river Trisuli most of the way towards the south. On reaching Chitwan we meet the staff from the Lodge and travel by four-wheel drive or by an elephant to the Jungle Lodge through the park entrance. On arrival meet and welcome by the senior naturalist or the manager for the brief welcome information. Nepal's tropical, dense jungles are in the low land of Terai, which runs from east to west in this fertile country. These exotic jungles provide a home and habitat for the most endangered species of wildlife, the Royal Bengal Tiger, horned Rhinoceros, the Genetic Gharial crocodile, and freshwater Dolphins. In one of these jungles, you will find one of the most exciting safari destinations in the world. Safari on the back of elephants or in the four-wheel drive to view the diverse wildlife and many different species of exotic birds. Other thrills are canoe rides, jungle walks, and bird watch excursions in the comfort of the cozy lodge, built out of local material that blends well with the natural surroundings, with all the homely basic facilities.

The jungle program begins early in the morning before breakfast, with a Jungle walk with bird watching and an elephant safari for a few hours. And then return to the Lodge for breakfast, with an hour break, another jungle tour till lunchtime at 1 p.m. Afternoon activities start at 3 p.m. for an elephant safari or Jungle walk as per the Lodge set program.

With early Jungle activity, after breakfast drive to the main road at the park exit point, for the wonderful scenic drive to Pokhara, another tourist exotic destination with fabulous scenery of the surrounding landscapes, lakes, and the close view of Annapurna- Manaslu range of mountains including the majestic towering Mt. Machhapuchhre 'The Fish Tail'. The drive lasted for about 5 hours on the western highway. On reaching Pokhara, we check into the hotel, situated near the beautiful Phewa Lake. After refreshment, we head for an afternoon walk by the lakeside where there are many shops and delightful restaurants.

After breakfast, we head towards a short drive towards the end of Pokhara for the grand view of Davis Falls, depending upon the season. In the dry season, the water level might be quite low but in the late summer and in the midst of monsoon, the view of the torrential waterfall here is truly wonderful. From here drive leads to the hub of Pokhara, the local bazaar close from here view the Seti River Gorge, which is a narrow, deep gorge down below the bridge. From here a short drive brings you to the Bindabasani Temple area, where the local comes to visit and offer prayer to various Hindu God and Goddess, this place also offers a grand view of the Annapurna Himalayan range. From here another short visit to the Tibetan Refugee camp, which is almost the same setup as in the Patan area with carpet and other handicraft industry.

After a great time at Pokhara with a magnificent view of the Annapurna-Manaslu-Dhaulagiri and the striking Mt. Maccahapuchare, the drive continues for nearly 5 hours, on reaching Kathmandu check into respective hotels.
