Recent studies have found that the amount of caffeine you drink can have an effect on the risk of erectile dysfunction (ED), or sexual impotence. Although experts opine more research needs to be conducted, it appears that there might be a direct link.
A recent study assessed the data from a sample of 3700 men. Each man was asked the amount of caffeine they consumed, and whether they experienced any erectile dysfunction.
The study found that men who consumed the high amount of caffeine reported the lower incidence of impotence. Although the exact cause is not clear, experts conducting the study believe that it could be due to the caffeine that helps relax muscles and blood vessels in the penile organ, thus improving blood supply that is required for an erection.
Other researchers have agreed that this explanation does make sense, however to establish a direct link would need more studies.
Remember, anything that improves blood flow will decrease the risk of cardiac disease, and cardiac disease is one of the leading causes of erectile dysfunction. In previous studies, caffeine has found to be helpful in reducing diabetes as well as cardiac disease.
Will coffee be a solution to your ED problem? Although caffeine offers many health benefits and can be helpful, it is less likely not to cure all ailments. Moderation is the key here. Experts opine that two or three cups of coffee a day are enough.
Too much of coffee can make some people jittery or make them sleepless at night. The bottom line is that caffeine may be useful in preventing and treating erectile dysfunction if taken in moderation.
Erectile Dysfunction is a condition in which a man persistently fails to achieve and sustain an erection, which could be largely due to physical conditions associated with poor blood flow. However, some men may experience feeble erection due to prolonged stress, depression or anxiety.
ED is an incurable condition, but it is treatable with some of the effective medicines that include Edegra 100mg, Tadalafil or Vardenafil.
